Arsenal face big fight to sign Moises Caicedo
Arsenal are set to face huge competition to sign Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo in the summer.
The Gunners were heavily interested in the 21-year-old star but they could not convince the Seagulls to sanction his exit.
They are expected to try again at the end of the campaign but are set to face a difficult task with competition from elsewhere.
Chelsea are expected to spend on another marquee midfielder and Caicedo is one of the options on their transfer radar.
Aside from the Blues, there is another unnamed Premier League club in the mix to land the highly-rated Ecuadorian.
It could be one of the big six clubs. Manchester United were admirers of the young midfielder before he joined Brighton.
Liverpool could also enter the transfer pursuit while Manchester City can't be ruled out with their financial firepower.
Caicedo is widely expected to leave the Seagulls in the summer. Brighton have agreed to sell him for the right price.
