Erik ten Hag confirms January signing is ready to play
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that January signing Marcel Sabitzer is ready to make his debut tomorrow.
The Red Devils entertain Crystal Palace in the Premier League at Old Trafford and ahead of the game, Ten Hag has provided an update on Sabitzer.
The Austrian has only had one training session with his teammates, but Ten Hag has confirmed that he is ready to make his debut tomorrow.
The Dutch tactician added that the 28-year-old could also make the starting line-up as he is already in a good physical and mental shape.
He said: "I think he is ready to play. I think he's a really smart player, I think we gave him some guidance, but I think he knows what to do, he knows the job, so he could do."
Sabitzer was signed by the club from Bayern Munich after the injury blow for Christian Eriksen. He will be keen to prove a point during his temporary spell.
United are reportedly open to the prospect of signing him on a permanent deal if he can make a good impression. He could be available for around €25 million.
