Mikel Arteta provides Thomas Partey injury update
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an injury update on Thomas Partey ahead of tomorrow's Premier League clash at Everton.
The Gunners take on the Toffees at Goodison Park in tomorrow's early kick-off and ahead of the game, Arteta has provided good news.
Partey sustained a minor rib problem in the recent FA Cup exit to Manchester City, but Arteta hinted that he could be fit to face Everton.
He said: "He’s not ruled out. It’s nothing very significant but it was significant enough to get him out of the [Manchester City] game, which for Thomas is unusual. Hopefully he will be fine."
Partey and Granit Xhaka have been pivotal to the Gunners' tremendous run at the top of the table and the club must keep them fit.
The recent signing of Jorginho will offer the manager with the opportunity to rotate when required to avoid any form of injuries.
Arsenal can go eight points clear at the top of the Premier League standings if they manage to beat the Toffees away from home.
