Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has his sights on landing Utrecht midfielder Taylor Booth at the end of the season.

The Dutchman has a reputation of grooming young players and he is planning to rebuild his United squad with a similar policy.

According to The Daily Mail, Booth is one of the players on the manager's radar and a formal approach could be made this summer.

The 21-year-old joined Utrecht on a free transfer from Bayern last summer and he has already made 14 appearances in the Dutch top tier.

He has caught the eye with two goals and three assists. The youngster has also excelled with his tackling, distribution and ability to win duels.

United could get their hands on the youngster on the cheap, considering Ten Hag has a good association with Utrecht from his playing days.

The 53-year-old played a single season for the Dutch outfit. He was also their manager between 2015 and 2017 before moving to Ajax.
