Chelsea handed Denis Zakaria transfer boost
Chelsea could be handed a boost in signing Juventus midfielder Denis Zakaria on a permanent basis this summer.
The west London giants signed the Swiss international on loan from the Bianconeri last summer with an option to buy for £27m.
He was almost non-existent for the Blues until the World Cup but became a regular after the tournament before suffering an injury.
It is now reported by Gazzetta dello Sport that the Bianconeri could offload several first-team stars at the end of the campaign.
They are currently on course to miss out on the Champions League following a 15-point deduction due to their financial fraud.
In order to recover losses, a number of fringe players will be shown the exit door and it is reported that Zakaria is one of them.
Chelsea already have an option to sign him, but it is claimed that they could prise him away for a much lesser fee this summer.
Zakaria recently returned to training after his injury blow and he was an unused substitute against Borussia Dortmund in midweek.
