Man Utd want to sign Goncalo Ramos

Manchester United are determined to sign Benfica striker Goncalo Ramos during the summer transfer window, Record claim.

The Portuguese has been brilliant for the Primeira Liga outfit this term with 18 goals and eight assists from just 30 appearances.

His progress has caught the eye of several elite clubs and Record cite that United are pushing to sign him ahead of their rivals.

They have made contact with Ramos' agent Jorge Mendes but will have to wait until the summer before making a transfer offer.

Benfica are in mood to negotiate for their player, considering they are currently top of their league and vying for the title.

They don't want any disruptions until the end of the season and will only open talks with interested parties during the summer.

In the case of Ramos, United must be ready to spend big on his services, considering he has a release clause of €120 million.

Benfica are expected to hold out for the same figure.
