Man Utd tracking Chelsea striker target

Manchester United are keeping tabs on Chelsea striker target Victor Osimhen ahead of the summer transfer window, according to The Telegraph.

The Red Devils are expected to sign a marquee striker at the end of the season and they have already been linked with numerous names.

Osimhen is one of those and The Telegraph report that the club are monitoring him closely with a view to a summer transfer approach.

Napoli are prepared to sell him for around €120m this summer and there could be a two-way tussle with Chelsea also interested in him.

The Blues have been watching him closely as well in recent weeks and have the financial firepower to compete with the Red Devils.

The west London giants have spent over £500m since their takeover by Todd Boehly's consortium and the spending spree will continue.

If they were to sign Osimhen ahead of United, they may need to balance their financial books by sanctioning some player sales.
