Man Utd to make fresh move for Frenkie de Jong?
Manchester United are prepared to make a renewed attempt to sign Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong in the summer.
The Red Devils were determined to land the Dutchman under the request of manager Erik ten Hag last summer but he refused to join.
A transfer fee was agreed between the clubs for the midfielder but De Jong made it clear that he did not want to move to Old Trafford.
Despite the snub, Ten Hag remains keen on reuniting with his former Ajax midfielder and United are prepared to try again this summer.
If De Jong shares the same stance, it is claimed that United could focus on other midfield targets such as Dortmund's Jude Bellingham.
United are on course to qualify for next season's Champions League. They are nine points clear of fifth-placed Newcastle in the top-flight.
The Red Devils will be in FA Cup action against West Ham United tomorrow before they face Liverpool in the league on Sunday.
