Arsenal and Spurs interested in Dortmund playmaker?

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur could go head-to-head to sign Borussia Dortmund playmaker Julian Brandt this summer.

The German has been in impressive form for Dortmund this campaign, bagging nine goals and five assists from 30 outings.

His form has caught the eye of several European clubs and Bild claim that Gunners and Spurs could be favourites to sign him.

The 26-year-old will enter the final year of his Dortmund deal this summer and he has yet to be convinced over a contract extension.

If the stand-off continues until June 30, Dortmund may decide to cash in on him rather than losing him for nothing at the turn of the year.

Brandt could be available for €30 million. Aside from the north London duo, Manchester United have been linked with him in the past.

Dortmund will be hoping that there is a bidding war for the German this summer such that they can secure the best price for his services.
