Arsenal in talks to sign Champions League winner?

Arsenal are reportedly in talks with Marco Asensio's agency over a possible free transfer this summer.

The Spaniard has entered the final four months of his Real Madrid deal and he has no plans to renew with them.

Asensio is frustrated by his limited minutes under manager Carlo Ancelotti and is prepared to leave on a free.

Aside from the Gunners, AC Milan and Barcelona are also keeping tabs on the 27-year-old ahead of the summer.

Asensio has played from the right wing for Madrid this term, but he can also play on the left or in attacking midfield.

His versatility is a huge boost for any top club including the Gunners, who are set to return to the Champions League.
