Arsenal keeping close eye on Bundesliga winger - Fabrizio Romano
Arsenal are keeping a close eye on Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby ahead of the summer, Fabrizio Romano claims.
The north London giants were initially keen on landing Mykhaylo Mudryk from Shakhtar in January but Chelsea hijacked the deal at the final hurdle.
Diaby was an alternative target for the Gunners but they eventually signed Leandro Trossard from Brighton & Hove Albion.
Romano has now revealed that Mikel Arteta's side are still monitoring the versatile winger and could make a fresh summer move.
However, a transfer may depend on the financial demands of Leverkusen. The German outfit valued him at a hefty €100m this winter.
The Gunners seem unlikely to make an approach for the Frenchman unless the Bundesliga side are willing to lower their price to €60m.
Diaby had a slow start to the current season but has picked up form in recent weeks. He has bagged 11 goals and six assists from 32 games.
Aside from Arsenal, Manchester United have also been linked with the 23-year-old, who dreams of playing in the Premier League.
