Man Utd planning surprise swoop for Chelsea target?

Manchester United could reportedly make a surprise move for Chelsea target Rafael Leao at the end of the season.

Leao was the subject of interest from the Blues last summer but they could not entice the Rossoneri to sanction his sale.

The London giants remain interested in the Portuguese but it is now reported that United have joined the transfer race.

According to Pianeta Milan, the Rossoneri are likely to listen to offers for Leao this summer amid his contract stand-off.

Leao's current deal expires at the end of next season and so far, the club have not managed to convince him over a renewal.

The Rossoneri currently value him in the region of €100m but may have to lower their price ahead of the summer.

Leao has been slightly inconsistent this term, but he has still contributed nine goals and 10 assists from 33 games.

He has been a regular from the left wing but can also play up front. Leao has previously admitted that he likes the Premier League.
