Chelsea midfielder in talks with AC Milan chiefs?
Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic has reportedly spoken with AC Milan chiefs ahead of a possible summer move to the club.
The Croatian has been a key player for the Blues over the years, but he could leave them permanently this summer.
His current deal expires at the end of next season and Kovacic has no plans to renew amid the club's ongoing spending spree.
The midfielder is concerned about his starting role in future and does not want to stay at Chelsea where he could sit on the bench.
Hence, the former Real Madrid man is expected to move on and Pianeta Milan claim that the Rossoneri are favourites to sign him.
Kovacic held a private meeting with AC Milan officials at the weekend and it is reported that personal terms were being discussed.
Milan already have two former Chelsea stars in Olivier Giroud and Fikayo Tomori and could sign another at the end of the season.
