Arsenal and Chelsea offered chance to sign PSV star

Arsenal and Chelsea have been offered the chance to sign PSV Eindhoven midfielder Ibrahim Sangare this summer.

The Ivory Coast international was heavily linked with a Premier League move last summer but a transfer did not materialise.

Chelsea made an effort to sign him in the final days, but PSV had no plans of losing their midfielder, who had just signed a new deal.

However, he is likely to move on at the end of the campaign and 90min claim that Arsenal and Chelsea have been offered his services.

Sangare signed a new long-term contract with the Eredivisie giants last summer, but he retained the low release clause of €37 million.

It remains to be seen whether the London giants will go head-to-head for his signature when the transfer window reopens in a few months time.

Manchester United have also been credited with an interest in the 25-year-old but their main priority continues to remain Barcelona's Frenkie de Jong.
