Man Utd lining up move for Goncalo Ramos?

Manchester United are reportedly lining up an approach for Benfica striker Goncalo Ramos ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Portuguese has had an extraordinary season with Benfica, bagging 24 goals and 10 assists from 36 appearances for the club.

It is now reported that the 21-year-old is unhappy at the Primeira Liga outfit amid the lack of progress over an improved contract.

The young striker was promised a new deal with a pay rise last summer, but the hierarchy have yet to fulfil the promise made.

Amidst this, United are keeping a close eye on his developments and they are prepared to swoop for his services in the summer.

Ramos presently has a release clause worth €120m in his contract, but it has been reported that he could be available for around €100m.

However, Benfica are likely to demand a major chunk of the money up front or they may decide to keep hold of Ramos for another season.
