Mikel Arteta reacts after Arsenal's draw vs Liverpool
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has said that he is satisfied with the 2-2 Premier League draw against Liverpool on the road.
The Gunners dominated the opening 30 minutes of the encounter and they raced into a commanding 2-0 lead.
However, they conceded a goal before the half-time interval. Mohamed Salah found the back of the net from close range.
In the second period, the hosts were the better team throughout and the Gunners were fortunate to secure a point.
Salah missed a penalty early on while Ramsdale was called into action to make several world-class saves to deny the Reds.
Roberto Firmino's 86th minute goal shared the spoils but Arteta was still impressed with the application in the stalemate.
He said: "We could taken three points. We should do that [play like the first half] for another 15 minutes and then the game would have taken a very different trajectory. We didn't. We have to take the point."
Arsenal remain top of the table despite the draw. They are six points clear of Manchester City at the top but have played one game more.
