Man Utd defender suspended for Brighton FA Cup tie
Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has been ruled out of the FA Cup semi-final against Brighton & Hove Albion.
The centre-back has started the last two games for United in the injury absence of Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez.
However, he won't be available for the Wembley showdown, having reached the yellow card limit for a suspension.
Maguire has already picked up three yellow cards in the competition which has automatically triggered a one-game ban.
Hence, he won't play any part against the Seagulls. In his absence, Luke Shaw should partner Victor Lindelof in central defence.
Shaw picked up a knock in the back end of the Sevilla game last night and hopefully, he will be fit to face the Seagulls.
Meanwhile, Diogo Dalot could continue from the left-back spot, having impressed from the role in the last two outings.
United will be desperate to avoid the prospect of being eliminated from the Europa League and FA Cup within a few days.
