Dahoud to sign for Brighton

Brighton and Hove Albion will sign Mohamed Dahoud from Borussia Dortmund this summer, with the 27-year-old ready to sign a three year deal at the Premier League outfit. The German international, who has two caps to his name, has played over 100 games for Borussia Dortmund since his arrival at his current club from Borussia Monchengladbach in 2017.

Mohamed Dahoud is a talented German footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga. Born on January 1, 1996, in Amuda, Syria, he moved to Germany with his family as a child. Dahoud began his youth career with Fortuna Düsseldorf before joining Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2010, where he progressed through the ranks of the youth academy.

Dahoud made his professional debut for Borussia Mönchengladbach in December 2014, and he quickly established himself as one of the team's most promising young players. Known for his technical ability, vision, and creativity on the ball, Dahoud was a key player for Borussia Mönchengladbach during his time at the club. In 2017, he signed for Borussia Dortmund, where he has continued to develop his game and impress fans with his performances on the pitch.

Dahoud has also represented Germany at various youth levels, and he made his senior international debut in May 2017 in a friendly match against Denmark. Although he has yet to establish himself as a regular in the national team, he is widely regarded as one of Germany's most promising talents.

In February, Borussia director Sebastian Kehl announced that Dahoud's deal would not be extended, paving the way for a transfer elsewhere. Brighton will sign the versatile midfielder on a free transfer, and will beat Leicester City and Newcastle United to the Syria-born player's signature.
