Chelsea have opened talks to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic in the summer transfer window.

The Blues are aiming to land a new centre-forward this summer and they are looking at different targets.

Vlahovic is one of those on their radar, and according to Julien Laurens, they are leading the race to sign him.

The Serbian was a top target for Arsenal in January last year but he snubbed them for a move to Turin.

He has since struggled to prove his credentials. The striker has netted just 14 goals in the current season.

Hence, there are no surprises that he is eyeing a new challenge and Chelsea seem determined to land him.

Vlahovic ruled out a move to Arsenal last year as they were not actively participating in the Champions League.

It remains to be seen how Chelsea will convince him. The Blues won't be playing in Europe next season.

They are set to finish in the bottom half of the league table. The club are currently 12th with just 43 points.
