Chelsea make Kylian Mbappe transfer decision

Chelsea have no plans of pursuing a deal for Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe this summer.

The Frenchman has decided against a one-year extension in his contract and this could pave the way for his exit.

His current deal expires in June 2024, and Les Parisiens are likely to sell him during the coming transfer window.

Chelsea have been one of his admirers, but Ben Jacobs claims that they are not expected to enter the race for him.

The Blues are currently in a precarious position and they need player sales to avoid Financial Fair Play sanctions.

In such a case, they can not afford to spend £150m on Mbappe and could prefer to sign a much cheaper striker.

Dusan Vlahovic is currently on the club's transfer radar and he could be signed for around £69m from Juventus.

The Blues are exploring a player-plus-cash deal for the Serbian such that they can reduce the final price tag for him.
