Chelsea offered chance to sign Arsenal striker?

Chelsea have been handed the opportunity to sign Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun this summer, according to Football Transfers.

The Gunners youngster was sent out on loan to Reims last season. He had a fine campaign with 22 goals across all competitions.

Balogun is now eager to play regularly at the top level, and The Athletic recently claimed that Arsenal are expected to sell him.

It is now added that his representatives have held talks with the Blues to find out whether they are interested in landing his services.

Balogun is expected to report for pre-season training on Saturday, but he is most likely to travel to the USA for the upcoming friendlies.

However, there are no assurances that he will be at the club at the beginning of the new season. His agents are working overtime.

Arsenal valued their academy graduate at £35 million earlier this year, but the price has been hiked to £50m after his USA debut.
