Man Utd battling Chelsea to sign Juventus star?

Manchester United could go head-to-head with Chelsea in the race to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic this summer.

The Red Devils are currently looking for a new marquee striker, and they are exploring different options in the transfer market.

Vlahovic is one of the names on their radar, and Corriere dello Sport claim that they are in the competition with the Blues.

Mauricio Pochettino's side have already spoken with the player's agent, and they plan to open negotiations with Juventus soon.

Juventus are open to parting ways with the former Fiorentina man, who has been hugely disappointing during his time at the club.

However, they have no plans of selling him on the cheap. They bought him for €70m + €10m in add-ons and want to recoup the fee.

Corriere dello Sport are unsure whether United or Chelsea will make such an outlay for the 23-year-old amid his inconsistent form.

Vlahovic has yet to receive formal offers from any European club. Bayern Munich have distanced themselves to focus on Harry Kane.
