Arsenal set high price tag for experienced midfielder
Arsenal are happy to keep midfielder Thomas Partey at the club unless they receive a significant transfer fee.
The Ghana international has been with the Gunners for the past three years. He has been injury-prone, but has still made a huge impact.
There were suggestions that he could be sold earlier this month, but it now appears manager Mikel Arteta is happy to keep him next term.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Gunners are not actively looking to sell Partey, and will only consider offers between €40-45m for him.
A number of Saudi clubs and Juventus have made contact with the Gunners, but there have been no suitable proposals on the table to consider.
With Partey looking set to stay, the Gunners are likely to cool their interest in signing midfielder Romeo Lavia from Southampton this summer.
Lavia could still return to the Premier League with Liverpool currently in advanced talks with the Saints over the transfer package for him.
