Man Utd in talks to sign Bayern Munich defender?
Manchester United are reportedly in contact with the representatives of Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard.
The Red Devils are looking for a new central defender this summer, but a transfer depends on the future on Harry Maguire.
Maguire has been put up for sale for £40 million. If any club meets their asking price, the club could seek a replacement.
Pavard is one of the players under consideration and Bild claim that United have already held talks with his management.
However, United are not alone in the pursuit of the Frenchman and face competition from Manchester City and Juventus.
City are currently in talks with Bayern over the potential sale of Kyle Walker, and a swap deal could be on the cards.
Pavard has yet to agree personal terms with any team, but he has made his mind up to move on from the Bavarian giants.
The centre-back has entered the final year of his Bayern deal, but has no plans of penning a possible renewal with them.
