Chelsea agree deal to sign top Man Utd target
Chelsea have reached an agreement to sign Manchester United target Axel Disasi from Monaco.
The Blues recently suffered a huge setback with Wesley Fofana picking up a serious knee injury.
The Frenchman has undergone a surgery for the same, and may not return until mid-March at least.
Amidst this, the club have moved quickly to sign Disasi from Monaco.
They have agreed to pay €45 million for the centre-back, who has already accepted personal terms.
Disasi has also been linked with United and Newcastle, but neither have made formal bids for him.
United's bid has been dependent on Harry Maguire's exit and it now seems they have lost out on Disasi.
This will be a big blow for the Red Devils, who have already seen Kim Min-jae join Bayern Munich.
United were heavily in contact with the South Korean's agent this summer before he signed for Bayern.
As of now, the Red Devils may not sign another centre-back with Maguire looking likely to stay put.
