Bournemouth complete move for Tyler Adams
Bournemouth have snatched the signature of USA international midfielder Tyler Adams, from right under the noses of several Premier League rivals. The Cherries have paid around £27 million to land the holding midfielder from Leeds United, with the anchorman signing a long-term contract with the Premier League side.
Playing 26 times last season in his first campaign in England, Adams proved that he was a gifted footballer who is comfortable in the top flight.
Bournemouth have beaten numerous teams with the signing, and after agreeing the move, Cherries chief executive Neill Blake quipped: "To have him sign for AFC Bournemouth shows the ambition we have as a club.
"We're thrilled to have brought Tyler to the club and he is a player we've admired for a long time.
"It's been widely documented how much his talents have been recognised in this transfer window by other clubs.
"Tyler is an exciting player who possesses plenty of experience for someone that is just 24 years of age and we're looking forward to working with him as he's a player we know will be a great addition to our squad."
The Cherries bolstered their squad with two signings this summer already in Hamed Traore and Justin Kluivert.
