Man Utd pushing ahead to sign Turkey international
Manchester United are pushing ahead with an approach to sign Fenerbahce goalkeeper Altay Bayindir this summer.
The Red Devils conducted a pre-medical on the shot-stopper earlier today and they are satisfied with the outcome.
They were worried over a back injury, but the hierarchy are now content to proceed with a formal transfer offer.
United are likely to pay around €7m for the 25-year-old. The fee would trigger the release clause in his contract.
Bayindir has been Fenerbahce's first-choice keeper, but he looks set to sacrifice game time to join the Red Devils.
The transfer is currently on hold until United part ways with Dean Henderson, who is on the radar of Crystal Palace.
Palace have already held talks with the Red Devils, and they are expected to sign the 26-year-old on loan with a buy clause.
Henderson was initially expected to rejoin Nottingham Forest, but Palace have made a better proposal for the club graduate.
