Fulham and West Ham in for Dominic Solanke

Solanke: on the radar of Premier League duo

Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke is wanted by Premier League rivals Fulham and West Ham, as the former Liverpool forward continues to impress at the Cherries. The 25-year-old has scored 54 goals in 163 games for Bournemouth since his move there in 2019, and the striker continues to improve game by game and has now caught the eye of rival clubs.

Fulham have to move quickly to sign a replacement to  Mitrovic, who already departed for Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia for around £50 million. The signing of Raul Jimenez has done little to please the club's support, and Solanke is now the primary target. West Ham, on the other hand, are looking to spend some of the money that they received for the sale of Declan Rice to Arsenal, and are seeking competition for Michail Antonio. The sale of Scamacca earlier in the summer also indicates the club need at least one new striker.

Folarin Balogun has been linked with a move from Arsenal to a Premier League rival, but so far a deal has failed to materialise, and the US international could also still return to France with Monaco. Solanke is seen as an alternative to Balogun.

However, Bournemouth do not want to sell Solanke, and will likely resist all bids for the forward.
