Mauricio Pochettino speaks on Trevoh Chalobah's future
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that Trevoh Chalobah remains part of his plans for the ongoing campaign.
The centre-back was the subject of interest from Nottingham Forest last summer. The Blues accepted a deal worth £25m for his services, but the defender turned down the transfer.
It has since been claimed that Chalobah could be frozen out from first-team duties. The hierarchy have a clear ambition to offload him when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.
Amidst this, Pochettino has clarified that Chalobah remains in his plans and no one else will decide the player's future other than him, he said:
"Trevoh Chalobah is in my plans, no one else is going to make decisions for me. I have enough knowledge to be involved in a decision. Everyone in the squad is part of my plans."
Chelsea return to Premier League action this weekend with an away game at Bournemouth, who have beaten them twice in the previous five league meetings.
