Chelsea boss eyeing deal for Serie A striker?
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino is interested in signing Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic at the beginning of the New Year.
The Blues were linked with the Serbian in the last transfer window, but decided against pursuing him due to his poor form.
The Bianconeri were willing to negotiate a part-exchange deal with Romelu Lukaku moving the other way, but the Blues refused to pay the fee.
Vlahovic has since been in fine form for the Bianconeri with four goals and one assist from six appearances in all competitions.
His form has revived the interest from Pochettino, who is desperate to land another high-profile striker when the window reopens.
Juventus wanted €70m for Vlahovic without any exchange last summer, and they could hold out for a higher fee this time.
He has won back the confidence of the hierarchy this term and the Turin giants could be reluctant to lose him midway through the season.
Meanwhile, Vlahovic is said to be open to moving to London.
