Liverpool plan to return for Brazilian star in January

Liverpool to move for Andre in January?

Liverpool are prepared to make a fresh move for Fluminense midfielder Andre when the transfer window reopens in January.

The Reds were keen on landing the Brazilian star during the summer transfer window, but Fluminense refused to sanction his sale.

Jurgen Klopp's side were prepared to meet their transfer demands, but the Serie A outfit did not want to lose him midway through their season.

Their stance is likely to change ahead of the New Year and reports claim that the Reds will make a new approach for the 22-year-old.

Liverpool had a busy midfield rebuild over the summer. They signed Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch.

Out of the quartet, Mac Allister, Endo and Gravenberch can play in holding midfield, but Klopp still seems to be pushing for Andre's services.

Mac Allister and Gravenberch are better in central midfield while Endo may only viewed as a short-term signing, considering his age and ability.
