Arsenal & Chelsea battling to sign Spanish star?

Arsenal and Chelsea could go head-to-head to sign RB Leipzig star Dani Olmo at the end of the campaign, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The Spaniard has been a key player for the German outfit over the past three years and he recently signed a new contract with the club.

However, he has had a change in stance over recent months and he is prepared to pursue a new challenge when the current season concludes.

Olmo has been open to returning to his former club Barcelona, but he has not ruled out the prospect of moving to the Premier League.

Arsenal and Chelsea are said to be among his admirers but he won't come on the cheap with a release clause worth €60m in his deal.

Leipzig are unlikely entertain losing him for anything less, considering he committed his long-term future to them only in June this year.

Olmo is currently out of action with a knee injury, but Leipzig will be hoping to have him back on the field after the internationals.
