Chelsea confirm duo won't face Arsenal on Saturday

Trevoh Chalobah news

Chalobah and Chukwuemeka ruled out for Chelsea

Chelsea have confirmed that Trevoh Chalobah and Carney Chukwuemeka will be sidelined for the Premier League clash against Arsenal.

The west London giants are currently on 11 points after eight games into the season. They have won their last two league matches and will be eyeing another victory at the weekend.

Ahead of the derby against the Gunners, the club have received a boost with Reece James, Axel Disasi and Armando Broja all reporting for training after respective injury concerns.

However, the Blues have confirmed that they won't be without Chalobah and Chukwuemeka, who have both suffered setbacks in their recovery from respective injuries.

Chelsea have had a dreadful recent record against the Gunners and they have won one of the previous eight meetings. They will be keen to come on top this weekend.

James could line up in the right-back spot for the first time since the season opener. His return is a huge boost for the Blues as they look for a third straight win.
