Cole Palmer reacts after Chelsea's draw vs Arsenal
Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer has admitted that he is very disappointed after the club's 2-2 draw against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues were the dominant side in the London derby and they went two-nil up in the 48th minute after goals from Palmer and Mykhailo Mudryk.
It seemed that they were on course for a third-straight league win, but they failed to get over the line after two mistakes at the back.
Robert Sanchez's poor long ball gifted possession straight to Declan Rice, who found the net with a terrific first time curling effort.
Few moments later, Leandro Trossard equalised for the Gunners off the bench. He got on the right end of a Bukayo Saka cross.
Malo Gusto was brilliant in handling Gabriel Martinelli for most of the game, but lost concentration which allowed Trossard to score.
Speaking after the game, Palmer was disappointed with the result, but was happy to see the club go toe-to-toe with the Gunners.
He said: "We're obviously very disappointed not to get the three points but Arsenal are a very good side and one of the best teams in the league. We went toe-to-toe with them."
