Declan Rice reacts after Arsenal's draw vs Chelsea
Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice has praised the character of the team following their comeback draw versus Chelsea in the Premier League.
The Gunners were second-best against the Blues at Stamford Bridge and they were deservedly two-nil down after 48 minutes into the game.
It seemed like they were on course for their first league defeat of the campaign but their blushes were spared in the final 15 minutes.
A Robert Sanchez error allowed Rice to convert into an empty net with a brilliant curling effort. Leandro Trossard put the club level soon after.
The Gunners could have won the game through Eddie Nketiah, but his effort went just wide of the far post in the closing minutes of the derby.
Speaking after the game, Rice was delighted with the good comeback.
He said: "To show heart and character, it is not easy when 2-0 down. It's about having that fight and mindset, pushing the team on and making sure everyone has belief. It was a good comeback."
