Man Utd eye Boey deal

Manchester United have stepped up their interest in signing French right-back Sacha Boey.

The Frenchman was on the radar of Arsenal during the summer transfer window, but they did not make a formal approach.

The Gunners remain keen on his services but reports in Turkey claim that United have joined the pursuit for the highly-rated star.

The Red Devils are currently uncertain over the future of Aaron Wan-Bissaka amid his reluctance to put pen-to-paper on a new deal.

Wan-Bissaka's current contract expires in the summer of 2024, but United are expected to trigger his 12-month extension clause very soon.

Beyond that, there is no guarantee over his future and they could sell him and purchase Boey from Galatasaray at the end of the campaign.

Arsenal are also firm admirers of the former Rennes, but they have the right-back position well covered at the current point of time.

Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu can play comfortably in the position. Jurrien Timber is another option when he returns from injury.
