Arsenal have no plans to part ways with Takehiro Tomiyasu amid interest from Bayern Munich ahead of the January transfer window.

The Japan international has been a good utility player for the Gunners and was a regular starter for them before the last international break.

The club did not entertain any offers to sell him last summer and Sky Germany report that they have a same stance heading into January.

Tomiyasu is currently on the radar of the German champions and manager Thomas Tuchel has identified him as a top target for the New Year.

However, a transfer is highly unrealistic with the Gunners clearly content with Tomiyasu's form. He has managed to turn around his fortunes.

Tomiyasu has been sidelined with injuries in the back end of the previous two seasons and he will be hoping to avoid the same this campaign.

Arsenal will still be without his services for a month in early 2024 due to his involvement with Japan at the AFC Asian Cup held in Qatar.
