Man Utd handed big injury boost ahead of Everton clash
Manchester United have been handed a big injury boost ahead of the Premier League meeting against Everton on the road on Sunday.
The Red Devils have been hampered by several injuries this term. As many as 15 players have been in the treatment room in the current season.
Luke Shaw is one of those who has not played since late August with a muscle issue, but he is expected to return to action this weekend.
The England international has returned to full training after his recovery and he is anticipated to feature versus the Toffees away from home.
Shaw could line up alongside Harry Maguire in central defence. Shaw played as a centre-back regularly when Lisandro Martinez was injured last term.
The Southampton graduate could also benefit from the same, considering he would get minutes under his belt without the extra running as a left-back.
In that case, Sergio Reguilon, Diogo Dalot or Victor Lindelof could occupy the left-back role. Reguilon is definitely the natural in the position.
