Newcastle United to move for Man Utd midfielder?
Newcastle United could make a surprise move for Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek amid their ongoing injury crisis.
The Magpies have been hampered by several setbacks in the early part of the season and they are currently without midfield trio Elliot Anderson, Sean Longstaff and Joe Willock with injuries.
Sandro Tonali is also banned for the entire campaign after his betting breaches and Ekrem Konur claims that Van de Beek is a surprise solution for the Magpies at the beginning of the New Year.
Van de Beek is clearly unhappy with his current situation with the Red Devils. He has played just 30 minutes in all competitions this campaign despite fully recovering from last season's knee injury.
He has voiced his frustration publicly and should be tempted to move to the Magpies on a permanent basis. United will have to cut their losses on him and accept a cut-price deal in the next transfer window.
