Predicted Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Bayern, Varane starts

Predicted Man Utd line-up vs Bayern tonight

Manchester United entertain Bayern Munich in today's must-win Champions League group stage clash at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils are currently bottom of their group with four points, one behind Galatasaray and Copenhagen.

They must beat Bayern tonight and hope that Copenhagen and Galatasaray share the spoils in order to make the last 16.

Predicted Line-up:

Andre Onana has been ever-present in goal for United and he is expected to continue between the sticks versus Bayern.

In front of him, there could be a couple of changes from the 3-0 loss versus Bournemouth. Diogo Dalot could be replaced by Aaron Wan-Bissaka at right-back with the need for more defensive assurance.

Luke Shaw is likely to be reinstated into the left-back position, having struggled in central defence last weekend. We anticipate Raphael Varane to partner Harry Maguire in the heart of the backline.

In midfield, Scott McTominay could be dropped for the more defensive-minded Kobbie Mainoo. He is likely to partner Sofyan Amrabat and Bruno Fernandes in the centre of the park tonight.

Further forward, Antony and Alejandro Garnacho should continue out wide with their recent form while Rasmus Hojlund is likely to take the place of Anthony Martial. The Dane has five goals in Europe this term.

Predicted Man Utd line-up (4-2-3-1): Onana; Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Varane, Shaw; Amrabat, Mainoo; Antony, Fernandes, Garnacho; Hojlund.
