Arsenal preparing move to sign Portuguese defender?
Arsenal are reportedly preparing a move to sign Sporting Lisbon defender Goncalo Inacio in January.
The Gunners currently have a solid central defensive partnership in the form of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes.
However, they could still invest on another high-profile option and A Bola claim that Inacio could join them next month.
Inacio has been linked with a Premier League move for some time and he has been touted to make the switch this winter.
Liverpool are also interested in the highly-rated centre-back, but Arsenal are aiming to make the first move for his services.
Inacio's arrival could pave the way for the departure of Jakub Kiwior, who only joined the Gunners from Spezia last January.
Kiwior has not met the expectations of manager Mikel Arteta as per reports and he could be sold in the next transfer window.
AC Milan and Roma have come forward as interested clubs in the defender due to his experience of playing in the Serie A.
