West Brom eye Christiansen
Newly-promoted West Brom have made a swoop for FC Copenhagen's goalkeeper Jesper Christiansen. The Danish international shotstopper could be set for a move to WBA for around £700k.
With F.C. Copenhagen, he has won the 2005-06 and 2006-07 Superliga championship and was Danish goalkeeper of the year from 2005 to 2007.
The keeper, aged 30, spent three years in Scotland with Rangers, but his period back his homeland have allowed him to establish himself as a top class goalkeeper.
West Brom are believed to be ready to make several signings this summer, and a keeper looks to be the first.
