Girona president Pere Guardiola has clarified that there is no truth to the speculation linking Artem Dovbyk with a move to Chelsea this month.

The Ukrainian has been in excellent form for the La Liga outfit this term, scoring 11 goals and providing six assists from 18 league games.

His form has caught the eye of the Blues who are eyeing a new marksman, but Guardiola has clarified that the striker is going nowhere this winter.

He said: "There are no offers. Rumours, all of them. We don't have offers for anyone. Not from Barcelona for Aleix, not from Chelsea for Dovbyk, for anyone."

Chelsea are currently 10th in the Premier League standings with 28 points on the board. They are going through another tough campaign with the lack of consistency.

The club have struggled to score regularly over the entire campaign and need an upgrade up front for the back end of the season to qualify for European football.
