Chelsea have not made bid for Primeira Liga striker
Chelsea have not made an official bid to sign Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres during the ongoing transfer window.
The Sweden international has been a revelation for Sporting this term, scoring 20 goals and providing 10 assists from 24 games.
This has led to speculation that he could leave this winter, but Fabrizio Romano has clarified that there are no offers on the table.
Record recently claimed that the Blues made a €85m bid for the striker, but Sporting want the player's €100m release clause to be triggered.
It was reported that the London giants could return with another offer, but Romano has insisted that the Blues have not made any move.
Despite this, there is still interest from the Blues in the former Coventry City striker. Arsenal are also admirers of the 25-year-old ace.
Gyokeres recently promised that he will stay at Sporting until the end of the season, but anything could happen over the next fortnight.
