Chelsea attacking target set to join Brentford
Chelsea target Antonio Nusa is set to make the switch to Brentford from Club Brugge, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Nusa was on the radar of the Blues last summer but they failed with an approach just before the transfer deadline.
The club have not revived their interest this month and the Bees have taken advantage of the same to land his services.
Tottenham Hotspur were initially aiming to land his signature, but they have been beaten to the player by Thomas Frank's side.
The west London outfit have agreed to loan him back to Club Brugge for the remainder of the campaign, as per the player's choice.
Nusa is regarded as one of the best young attackers in Norway and he has the potential to become an elite winger in future.
The decision to move to the Bees should benefit him as he would be guaranteed with regular playing time next season.
At Spurs or Chelsea, he would have had to buy his time with the vast competition for places around him in the squad.
