Man Utd make contact to sign Bayern striker?
Manchester United have made contact with Bayern Munich striker Mathys Tel ahead of a potential approach this summer.
The Frenchman has endured a tough time with the Bundesliga champions and he has been playing second fiddle to Harry Kane.
He is said to be keen on securing more playing time and this could pave the way for his departure at the end of the campaign.
According to Florian Plettenberg, United are one of the clubs interested in signing him and contact has been made through his camp.
United currently have Rasmus Hojlund as the main centre-forward with Anthony Martial providing the back-up off the bench.
Martial is currently out injured until April at least and he could pursue a new challenge away when his contract expires in June.
Tel could be seen as his replacement and a strong competitor to Hojlund, but he is unlikely to come on the cheap this summer.
Bayern could easily demand €60-70m for the young Frenchman.
