Man Utd ready to move for Brazilian defender

Manchester United are ready to move for the signing of Juventus centre-back Gleison Bremer in the coming weeks.

The Brazilian has been earmarked as United's top target for the summer transfer window and they have already spoken with his representatives.

The club are now weighing up an approach for the former Torino man and it is claimed that a fee in the region of €60-70m could secure an agreement.

Bremer has publicly spoken about his ambition of playing in the Premier League and he would find it hard to turn down a move to Old Trafford.

The 26-year-old could fill the potential void left by Raphael Varane, who is widely expected to leave when his contract expires at the end of June.

The Frenchman has not received a new deal thus far and the new management look likely to release him due to his huge wages.

Bremer has also been linked with Tottenham Hotspur, and United need to be pro-active to avoid losing him to their Premier League rivals.
