Chelsea handed fresh blow with forward out for weeks
Chelsea have been handed a fresh injury blow with Christopher Nkunku out on the sidelines for the next three to four weeks.
The Frenchman joined the Blues from RB Leipzig last summer and he suffered a serious knee injury during pre-season.
He made his comeback towards the end of the year, but has since picked up multiple niggles. He is now out for around a month.
Speaking in today's press conference, Mauricio Pochettino said: "It's difficult for him. He was flying [in pre-season] before he got the knee injury."
"We need to see and evaluate. At the moment, three-four weeks out. I hope. I hope no more."
The news is a huge blow for the Blues, who are scheduled to face an in-form Leeds United side in the FA Cup fifth round.
Following this, they face Brentford away from home in the league which won't be an easy game despite the Bees' poor form.
Pochettino's future is hanging in the balance at the moment. It is claimed that he could be sacked if Chelsea lose to Leeds.
