Man Utd & Chelsea target opens door for Barcelona return

Manchester United and Chelsea target Jean-Clair Todibo has welcomed the possibility of returning to Barcelona.

The Frenchman joined the Blaugrana as a teenager from Toulouse and he barely impressed before his move to Nice.

In his time in Ligue 1, he has become a key player from central defence and it may not be long before he pursues a bigger club.

Manchester United were hot on the trail of him last summer, but they could not afford his services due to Financial Fair Play limits.

The Red Devils are still interested in landing the centre-back while Chelsea are also mentioned as contenders for his signature.

Amidst this, Todibo has told Canal+ that he would entertain the prospect of returning to Barcelona if an opportunity arises.

He said: "Why not? I don't regret [my previous spell at the club], not at all. Barcelona is still a great experience."

"I learned a lot from Gerard Pique, Samuel Umtiti, Clement Lenglet... It did me good. I discovered the very, very high level."
