Arsenal keen on signing 22yo Bundesliga defender

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt defender Willian Pacho during the summer transfer window.

The Gunners are likely to strengthen their squad further in the summer and they have already been linked with multiple centre-backs.

Sporting's Ousmane Diomande is one of the top names on their radar, but Florian Plettenberg claims that they are also tracking Pacho.

Pacho joined the Bundesliga outfit from Royal Antwerp last term and he has been brilliant for them at the heart of their backline.

The 22-year-old has been almost ever-present in central defence and it won't be a surprise if he secures a bigger challenge soon.

Frankfurt are aware of the transfer interest. It is reported that they could demand as much as €60 million to sign the Ecuadorian star.

It is left to be seen whether the Gunners make an approach. A new centre-back signing could coincide with a potential departure.

Jakub Kiwior could head for the exit door in the next transfer window. He has been frequently linked with AC Milan in recent weeks.
